PlanetBasecamp does not ask visitors to provide personal information. The site has no accounts, contact form, live comment submissions, checkout or booking service. The current PlanetBasecamp application does not use advertising scripts, application analytics or application cookies.
In your browser
If you change the Light/Dark appearance, your browser stores that preference locally. Temporary browser-session storage helps preserve your place within a Journey and smooth navigation. These values remain in your browser and are not intentionally submitted to PlanetBasecamp as form data. You can clear them through your browser's site-data controls.
Search and filtering operate in your browser. Search and filter terms may appear in the URL and browser history. Opening or reloading such an address sends the requested URL, including those terms, to the hosting infrastructure.
Hosting
PlanetBasecamp is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like normal web-hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to serve and protect requests. This can include your IP address, the requested URL and request headers. This technical processing is separate from visitor-submission features, which the site does not offer.
External services
Embedded YouTube and Facebook videos connect to their providers only when you choose to play them. Following an external link contacts its destination. These services operate under their own privacy practices.
Some preserved historical accommodation and activity links contain referral identifiers. Those identifiers are sent to the destination service when you follow the link.
